About the role
The Senior Project Manager within the Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) OU is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to bring advanced Physiological Sensing products to market. This role focuses on enhancing innovation processes and refining design and delivery approaches to ensure product development excellence.
Responsibilities
- Leads or leverages cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes, and therapies.
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
- Makes sure the project progresses according to schedule, quality standards, and client satisfaction goals.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervenes and solves problems with project managers, line managers, and clients.
- Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation, and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project's key stakeholders.
- Communicates with stakeholders, engages stakeholders to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.
Requirements
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 4 years of experience leading complex projects OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years experience OR PhD with 0 years experience.
- Nice to Have Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous experience leading new product development projects that require navigating technical, regulatory, and quality risks while driving strategic decisions around project schedule, resources, budget, and scope.
- Experience launching products in the medical device industry or other heavily regulated industries.
- Strong influence management skills, capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders at all levels to build consensus and alignment.
- Experience working across global teams and in matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in environments of uncertainty and change, with the capability to define clear paths forward, set strategic priorities, and drive results despite unclear or evolving circumstances.

- Autonomy: Seasoned individual contributor. Works independently under limited supervision to determine and develop approach to solutions. Coaches and reviews the work of lower level specialists; may manage projects / processes.
- Organizational Impact: May be responsible for entire projects or processes within job area. Contributes to the completion of work group objectives, through building relationships and consensus to reach agreements on assignments.

- Leadership and Talent Management: May provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area. May manage projects, requiring delegation of work and review of others' work product.
