Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate project meetings with a structure and agenda that is specifically engineered to ensure successful execution
- Generate and disseminate meeting minutes that accurately capture key decisions, open issues, and action items
- Follow up on status of task and action item execution both within and outside of meetings, and update project documentation (project timeline, meeting minutes) accordingly.
- Cook up and disseminate strategy to meet project business objectives
- Collaborate closely with team members to develop detailed project plans
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful achievement of project milestones
- Proactively identify any issues, concerns, or challenges of assigned projects
- Develop action plans to address open issues, including escalation to key partners and stakeholders
- Regularly communicate the project progress to senior leadership
- Work with research and development team to develop SOPS
- Both supply and monitor documentation of experimental results
- Working with lab manager to tackle key critical reagent usage and performance metrics, delivering actionable reports to optimize team workflows and resource allocation
- Facilitate the generation and continuous tracking of quarterly goals (OKRs) to maintain alignment across departments
- As the company grows, work with senior management to grow and manage the project management group
Qualifications
- BS in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
- 5 plus years of project management in a relevant area with demonstrated success in the role
- PMP Certification desired
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work with a wide range of contributors in an effective manner
- Understanding of DNA synthesis and/or sequencing expected
- Experience with Asana, Project or similar project management software desired
- Ideal has experience with Confluence, along with LIMS and MES systems
- Experience with facilities and laboratory construction project management also a plus
- Self-starter who can take basic directions and deadlines and develop a project plan including setting goals and milestones
- Proven management experience with a track record of leading high-performing teams desired
- Strategic relationship-builder with a talent for proactive problem identification and resolution
- Fostered a collaborative team culture, readily stepping outside core responsibilities to ensure collective success
Pay Range
The pay range for this role is: 110,000 - 150,000 USD per year (HQ)
