About the role

Based in our Cranberry Township, PA office, you will join our Power & Water Solutions organization as part of a team delivering advanced automation, controls, and software solutions across the power, water, and critical-infrastructure industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, planning, configuration, and delivery of advanced automation and control system projects across power, industrial, and mission-critical environments.
  • Serve as a technical resource for control system architecture, integration strategy, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and technical quality while partnering closely with cross-functional engineering, project management, and customer teams.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of control systems, microgrid technologies, and specialized industrial applications to develop effective solutions.
  • Oversee customer-facing activities including design reviews, validation, factory and site acceptance testing, commissioning, and final system handover.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams to identify innovative solutions, share best practices, and maintain consistent project execution standards.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and solution innovation.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field or a combination of related experience and education.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in an engineering environment, preferably within industrial, power, or utility sectors.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with control systems, automation platforms, or distributed control architectures.
  • Experience leading complex, multidisciplinary technical projects.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to engage confidently with customers and present technical concepts.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Skills

  • Experience with microgrid control systems, distributed energy resource integration, or grid-modernization initiatives.
  • Experience supporting controls solutions for data centers, mission-critical facilities, or high-reliability industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with electrical switchgear and substation control.
  • Experience leading workshops, training, or technical design sessions.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on developments in automation and digital technologies.
  • Familiarity with data communication protocols - SCADA, GOOSE, DNP3, etc.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
