Sr Program Specialist - Construction PM - NM*

About the role
The successful candidate will leverage previous construction or engineering management experience to lead Building Automation Controls, Fire Alarm, Security, and integrated systems installation projects of varying sizes. You will manage customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle while overseeing projects in commercial environments, including high-rise buildings, airports, and corporate campuses, as well as institutional and government facilities, including schools, hospitals, military installations, municipal buildings, and other federal, state, and local government sites, supporting both new construction and retrofit projects. This role reports directly to the Program Manager and is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico on a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage resources to meet program milestones and deadlines.
- Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Communicate program status and updates to stakeholders and senior leadership effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes and tools.
- Oversee all aspects of installation, as well as create and manage project schedules, financial plans, staffing plans, project implementation, and close-out documentation.
Requirements
You must have:
- 2 or more years of proven experience in program management with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices to drive project success.
- Expertise in risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication to ensure program alignment.
- Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or equivalent tools.

- Knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies is a plus.
