Sr. Program Planner/Scheduler I - Onsite

About the role

Location: Goleta, CA (6380 Hollister Ave, BLDG H01). Date posted: 2026-09-10. Onsite position requiring U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) compliant with government and corporate requirements, demonstrating necessary cost and schedule integration.
• Assist in planning and cost estimating tasks, perform analyses, and prepare reports to ensure programs meet or exceed schedule commitments, including internal weekly and monthly program schedule review packages and compliant external Contractual Data Requirements List submittals.
• Participate in preparation of schedules for all contract work and perform critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis, variance analysis, and other in‑depth, actionable schedule‑related analysis.
• Incorporate contractual and programmatic changes into the IMS to maintain realistic current contract schedule baselines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and a minimum of 5 years of Program Planning, Scheduling, or Project Management experience; OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date (with ability to obtain program access after start).
• U.S. citizenship required (only U.S. citizens eligible for a security clearance).
• Prior work experience using scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar).
• Prior work experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and/or evaluating critical path and/or workflow.
• Prior work experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience analyzing schedule data including driving paths, schedule metrics and trends, and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA).
• Demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite.
• Understanding of product development principles including Agile software development.
• Ability to interface and influence at all levels of an organization with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with APEX, SAP/R3, Microframe Project Manager (MPM) or similar EVMS tools, and software applications such as Oracle ERP, Deltek Cobra, Deltek MPM Connect, ForProject.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $95,500 – $181,700 USD.
