About the role

Rapid and Rural Logistics seeks a Senior Program Manager with a strong track record in delivering projects and extensive experience in project management to lead strategic, cross-functional operations and technology initiatives for their faster-than-Same Day delivery services. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of fulfillment operations, including under-the-roof processes, inventory flows, constrained facilities, quality control, and long-term growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive innovation that enhances under-the-roof processes and consistently reduces costs in the fulfillment and delivery network.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, organize, execute, and standardize complex projects aimed at achieving 2026+ variable cost and quality targets.
  • Analyze and solve operational challenges by identifying root causes and fostering opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage analytics to inform the future state of the business and develop best practices for internal operations.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and process/product changes to senior management effectively.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-team efforts to ensure successful project execution.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of program/project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to communicate data insights to diverse audiences

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in driving process improvements

  • Ability to design sustainable solutions and influence stakeholders
