About the role
As a senior program manager, you will lead the delivery of a complex, mission-focused technology program, bringing together people, technology, operations, financial management, and customer engagement to ensure teams deliver measurable outcomes while maintaining strong performance and stakeholder trust.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership, direction, and accountability for the successful delivery of a large-scale IT program
- Serve as the primary interface with client and organizational leadership and key stakeholders, maintaining strong customer relationships
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee program activities across cloud engineering, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, network operations, service delivery, and other technical workstreams
- Establish and monitor program performance metrics, service-level objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), deliverables, and milestones
- Manage program budgets, forecasts, staffing, resource allocation, and financial performance
- Identify and manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities while developing mitigation strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams of technical experts, engineers, architects, cybersecurity professionals, and operational personnel
- Ensure contract requirements, deliverables, reporting obligations, and performance standards are met
- Establish processes that improve service delivery, operational maturity, automation, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the program lifecycle
- Develop and deliver program reviews, executive briefings, performance reports, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to client and corporate leadership
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 15+ years of experience managing complex IT, cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, or digital modernization programs
- 8+ years of experience leading large-scale programs supporting large enterprise, public sector, or regulated customers
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams across cloud, cybersecurity, network, infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and IT operations
- Experience managing program budgets, staffing plans, schedules, subcontractors, deliverables, performance metrics, risks, and contractual requirements
- Strong understanding of contracting, acquisition, and delivery processes, performance management, and customer engagement
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate technical and business activities across multiple organizations and stakeholders
- Experience establishing and monitoring KPIs, SLAs, operational metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong executive communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- ITIL, Agile, SAFe, or equivalent program/service management certification preferred
Pay
The salary range for this position is $200,000.00 - $220,000.00, determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors, including professional background, relevant work experience, and internal equity.
