Sr Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Owns a portfolio of projects across the United States mid-west region.
• Ensures successful execution within fixed-price, fixed-scope, and fixed-schedule constraints.
• Drives disciplined program execution through effective work breakdown, integrated master scheduling, time-phased budgeting, earned value management, and proactive performance monitoring.
• Manages large-scale system integration solutions combining COTS hardware with internally developed software.
• Oversees multi-year sustainment efforts involving proactive maintenance planning, defect monitoring, and rapid customer response.
• Provides support for internal management and execution of higher-complexity programs within the region.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree, or equivalent, with preferences in a design engineering discipline or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of related technical or engineering experience including seven years of project engineering, project management, program management, or other supervisory responsibilities.
• Advanced engineering degree or MBA preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification recommended.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional program teams.
• Proven understanding of engineering, operations, system integration and test, quality assurance, configuration management, logistics, contract administration, standard business practices, and program finance.
• Experience with secure credentialing, identity solutions, and/or biometrics preferred.
• Knowledge of state or government procurement, contracting, and standards and specifications.
• Full USA citizen (no dual citizenship).
