Sr. Program Manager
About the role
This role provides leadership for engineering and configuration support to create a healthy security posture for our delivered Managed Service supporting the US Army. The Program Manager works closely with the Program Director to support daily activities and weekly Program meetings with Government customers.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Program Director in daily activities and weekly Program meetings with Government customers.
- Provides operational support to the Program Director relating to procurement, staffing, recruiting, and ongoing program initiatives.
- Reviews completed work of other contractor personnel for accuracy of data and information, procedure and guidance compliance, and error-free documentation prior to submission to Government.
- Provides a higher-level view of activities occurring within the enterprise and the impacts on information sharing initiatives.
- Performs risk management, including identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating risks, and communicates and escalates risks and issues.
- Performs program status reporting and briefings to internal management, senior leadership, and government oversight officials.
- Assists in the successful execution of a large support contract with multiple task orders and operates in a fluid, high operational tempo environment.
- Continuously seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and develop long-lasting client relationships.
- Affords significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve services to our clients.
- Manages contractor performance of all work required and functions set forth in Statement of Work (SOW).
- Manages high volumes of work for particular organizations.
- Performs all management and coordinating functions as assigned; attends numerous periodic and ad hoc meetings with the customer and other program managers on Managed Service Team.
Requirements
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and IAT Level II certification.
- US Citizen.
- 8+ years of experience working in a DOD environment (Contractor/Civilian/Military), preferably Army.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Experience managing projects across development lifecycles (analysis through implementation).
- Track record of successfully managing multiple projects of varying scope, size, and complexity.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize competing requirements.
- Demonstrated experience providing technical/subject matter expertise; and in planning, organizing, executing, and controlling project tasks resulting in successful delivery of professional services.
- Proficient with desktop programs such as Adobe Acrobat, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Visio.
- A high attention to detail.
- Good oral and written communications skills.
Qualifications
- 8570 IAT Level II Certification, must meet requirements of DoD Directives 8570.01M.
- Service-oriented mentality with the ability to focus and take ownership of assignments/issues, and manage/resolve those issues.
- Capable of working in a team-oriented environment and self-managing tasks to ensure success.
- Communicates up and down within the organization; prepares detailed descriptions of issues, status updates, recommendations, and reports.
- Organized with an eye for detail.

Benefits
Salary Range: $170,000 - $190,000
