Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support for product and system prototypes.
- Lead and manage product installation, testing, and validation projects.
- Diagnose and resolve critical technical issues and defects.
- Develop and implement advanced corrective actions in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Create and oversee the maintenance of high-quality technical documentation.
- Conduct comprehensive customer needs assessments and deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Lead product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical workshops.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
- Drive strategic initiatives to improve product support processes and performance.
Qualifications
- You Must Have:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in a technical support or engineering role.
- Expert-level troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Extensive experience with product installation and testing processes.
- Progressive hands-on experience with wireless networks, tactical communications, and personal computers.
- Communication and customer interface skills.
- A comprehensive understanding of system level maintenance of networks and communications systems.
- Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations.
- Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations.
- Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.
- Current/valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally.
- Willing to TDY for extensive amounts of time.
- Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 60/60 rotation.
- An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance is required.
- You Prefer:
- A master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience with advanced prototype or concept product development.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Aerospace and Defense industry standards and practices.
- Relevant technical certifications [e.g., Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP)].
- Working knowledge of operating military units and logistics.
- Familiarity with the network and integration of traditional communications systems and sensors.
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF), vehicle installation and maintenance procedures.
- A background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military.
- Leadership experience in the military or civilian organization.
Essential Functions
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Hand/finger dexterity for operating computer equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
- Capability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Pay
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
