About the role
SpaceX is actively developing technologies to enable human life on Mars. The Starlink Enterprise Sales team is hiring a results-driven Sr. Product Sales Manager to support Starlink’s adoption across the world. This role requires a strong balance of business and technical acumen, as well as knowledge of the Starlink product and network, to support the Enterprise Sales team in achieving revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Leverage experience in fixed sites, retail, residential complexes, and commercial buildings to identify and develop improvements to pricing, product, and go-to-market strategies to support revenue growth, and be able to defend them internally.
- Support the integration of new hardware and service products into Starlink’s growing portfolio, including pricing, operations, sales enablement, and product portfolio management.
- Support the sales engagements of the broader team, engage with customers, and answer questions around commercial models and product capabilities.
- Develop and maintain technical and commercial sales enablement collateral to support Starlink’s sales teams, resellers, and direct customers.
- Work in partnership with Licensing, Government Affairs, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Product Engineering teams.
- Consult with Sales Operations to improve Go-to-market processes for new product offerings.
- Oversee technical training and development for team members.
- Represent Starlink at global conferences and events.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or Business discipline or 5+ years of professional working experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of professional experience in technical sales or product management.
- 5+ years of professional experience with enterprise network infrastructure.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- 5+ years of previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Previous experience in sales, account management, business development, engineering, and/or other technical roles preferred supporting enterprise networking products.
- Strong analytical skills in business and technical issues.
- Comfortable with high degree of ambiguity and figuring out solutions with minimal guidance.
- Knowledge of Starlink’s network infrastructure to communicate to customers.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude for the products you’ve supported.
Additional Requirements
- Must work onsite from SpaceX office in Bastrop, TX, Hawthorne, CA, Redmond, WA, or Palo Alto, CA.
- Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time to customer locations and other SpaceX locations.
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Range Level 3: $130,000.00 - $205,000.00 (actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis).
