Sr. Product Owner (Financial Services / FTE / Hybrid / Onsite Interview Preferred)
NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Product Owner with expertise in financial services to join our hybrid team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
About the role
Define, build, and own the roadmap for wealth management platforms, aligning with business objectives and client needs. Translate user needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining a prioritized product backlog. Represent and share the product vision with scrum teams, lead functional grooming of user stories, and serve as the focal point for sprint-related inquiries. Confirm technical architecture aligns with short- and long-term product vision, execute acceptance processes, and partner with advisors, marketing, compliance, and technology teams to deliver secure, high-quality products. Participate in Scrum ceremonies and guide the team in producing scalable solutions. Translate business strategy, goals, and processes into technical IT solutions, with familiarity in standard SDLC processes.
Responsibilities

- Lead functional grooming of user stories.
- Serve as the focal point for pre-sprint or in-sprint inquiries from the sprint team.
- Confirm technical architecture and design align with short- and long-term product vision.
- Execute the acceptance process for user stories.
- Partner with advisors, marketing, compliance, and technology teams to deliver secure, high-quality products.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Guide the team in producing high-value, scalable solutions.
- Translate business strategy, goals, and processes into technical IT solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Technology.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
- 5+ years of domain knowledge in Wealth Management.
- 5+ years of experience in system integration using APIs and data.
- 5+ years of proficiency in Scrum methodology and tools like JIRA.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, decision-making, and self-administrative skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, both internally and externally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Experience working with databases, including using SQL & PL/SQL to create queries and validate data (strong plus).

Pay
The starting pay range for this role is $87,720 to $131,580. Actual compensation will depend on relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
