Sr Product Owner

Main responsibilities

• Product Owner is responsible for the Program Backlog.
• Responsible for identifying Customer needs, documenting requirements/features and prioritizing Epics/Features.
• Work closely with design team on solution architect and provide business support.
• Work with PO to provide support on feature team.
• Maintain PI objectives created by teams during PI Planning and map them to iteration goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for banking and data technology initiatives.
• Support technical delivery teams by translating business needs into actionable specifications.
• Create and maintain JIRA boards, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to Agile principles and participate in ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Reviews, etc.).
• Perform data analysis and validation

Required Qualifications

• Deep financial domain expertise.
• Candidate must have 5+ years of domain expertise in Treasury Products: DDA, Client Liquidity, Payments, Receivables, Billing and Trade Finance.
• Understanding of Banking and Treasury Value Chain.
• Proficient in articulating the business problem and the technical solution. Must have the finesse to navigate within a large organization to influence big decision makers and win trust using people skills and technology knowledge.
• Proficient with eliciting business requirements, reviewing process flows, developing technical / system flows
• Comfortable with reviewing technical designs, providing feedback and confirmation of alignment to desired capabilities
• Deep understanding of Mater Data Management Principles and Applications
• Strong record of initiative-taking and leadership in a work setting.
• Strong experience supporting technical delivery.
• Experience in Agile Methodology preferably Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively - both verbally and in writing

Technical Skills

• Tools: JIRA, Confluence for Agile project tracking and documentation.
• Data Technologies: SQL, data modeling, metadata management.
• Methodologies: Agile, SAFe, requirements analysis and design.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical, facilitation, and presentation skills.
