About the role

NetApp is a leader in intelligent data infrastructure, delivering unified storage, integrated data services, and solutions that help organizations unlock the full potential of their data. The Sr. Product Marketing Manager (PMM) for Keystone at NetApp will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive adoption of NetApp's storage-as-a-service offering.

Responsibilities

  • Messaging & Positioning: Own the end-to-end Keystone messaging stack, develop differentiated positioning and value propositions, and craft compelling messaging that translates technology into customer outcomes.
  • Market Insights: Conduct TAM/SAM analysis, buyer research, and competitive benchmarking, providing actionable insights for roadmap, messaging, and GTM strategy.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead product launches, develop enablement assets, and ensure predictable, measurable outcomes.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop tailored content to empower sellers and partners, understand direct and indirect routes-to-market, and collaborate on partner activation strategies.
  • Analyist & Event Engagement: Support analyst briefings and submissions to secure leadership positioning, drive messaging and demo strategy for events, conferences, and executive briefings.
  • Pricing & Packaging: Contribute to offer strategy, monetization models, and portfolio rationalization, providing pricing insights and supporting TCO/TVO narratives.
  • Performance Measurement: Track launch success, pipeline impact, and adoption metrics to optimize GTM strategies, measure effectiveness of messaging and content, and optimize based on KPIs and feedback loops.

Requirements

  • Strong storytelling and messaging capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of buyer personas, customer journeys, and competitive landscapes.
  • Technical fluency in SaaS concepts.
  • 8+ years in a product marketing role within an enterprise technology or cloud solutions company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technical or marketing related field OR additional equivalent experience as stated above.

Skills

  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messages.
  • Experience in managing product launches and driving adoption.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. Pay

The target salary range for this position is $185,000-220,000. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range.

Schedule

This role is based in one of our main headquarters in either San Jose, CA / Raleigh (RTP), NC or Remote-Seattle, WA. We work in a hybrid work environment requiring meeting a set number of days per quarter in-office.
