Key job responsibilities
- Develop deep subject matter expertise in the drivers of product quality complaints across Amazon's worldwide stores, and build the framework to classify quality risk signals in a structured manner that supports optimal downstream interventions
- Define the 3-5 year product vision and roadmap for product quality excellence that scales with evolving customer expectations and delivers speed and operational efficiency through AI and automation
- Build AI-powered solutions that detect product quality risks across the fulfillment cycle and drive root cause elimination to prevent complaints before they reach customers
- Own and optimize quality intervention mechanisms ensuring the right intervention is applied to the right product at the right time, with accurate fault attribution
- Collaborate with stakeholders across science, engineering, business, finance, and analytics to develop the vision and effectively communicate direction to senior leaders to drive alignment and prioritization
- Develop product plans with clear measurable success criteria and own the mechanisms to communicate variance in product KPIs and progress against the roadmap
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
- Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
