Sr. Product Manager – Provider Directory Products and Services
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager – Provider Directory Products and Services to develop and manage solutions that deliver value to customers, attract future buyers, and strengthen DataSpring’s industry leadership for Provider Directory Products and Services. This role leads planning and forecasting to execute DataSpring’s Provider Directory product roadmap aligned with Product Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the product lead for new and existing products; partnering with cross-functional teams to define and deliver solutions aligned with organizational strategy.
- Drive the strategy, build, maintenance, growth, and retirement of assigned new and existing products.
- Support the development of user persona workflows and solution journey maps to inform product design and prioritization.
- Bring deep understanding of health plan buyer needs, procurement cycles, and provider directory operational workflows–including network management, provider data intake, and directory management, accuracy and outreach–to translate market requirements into prioritized product features.
- Create and manage the product roadmap for Provider Directory products and services, including the overall prioritization of product enhancements in alignment with organizational objectives, external stakeholders input, and through collaboration with internal functional areas.
- Monitor the provider directory competitive landscape and conduct market sizing, win/loss, and buyer analysis to identify differentiation opportunities and inform roadmap and go-to-market priorities.
- Lead and develop contracted resources through influence, coaching, and ongoing guidance to maximize individual effectiveness and overall team performance without direct reporting authority. Ensure readiness for development execution and prepare for subsequent cycles in annual planning process.
- Interface with Technology and UX teams to decompose features and functionality that deliver value outlined in the strategic business case. Support go-to-market and product launch initiatives (pilots, PoC, etc.) in conjunction with Product Strategist and Enterprise Strategy teams.
- Support strategy, pricing, packaging, and positioning for Provider Directory offerings and build the supporting business cases and ROI models to drive revenue growth, margin targets, and market expansion with health plan customers.
- Track and report KPIs aligned to business cases and annual plan. Collaborate with Strategic and Technical (PMO, InfoSec, Data Science, Tech Ops, and Architecture) teams to support the execution of the product roadmap.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and industry stakeholders to inform product strategy and ensure market relevance.
- Promote healthcare industry and technical infrastructure best practices, foster innovation, and provide Provider Directory subject matter expertise across the organization.
- Champion provider data accuracy, validation, and directory maintenance capabilities–such as source-of-truth reconciliation and continuous data quality monitoring–as core differentiators of DataSpring’s Directory solutions.
- Maintain expertise in provider directory regulatory and interoperability drivers and ensure roadmaps address evolving health plan compliance obligations.

Qualifications
- 7+ years managing healthcare technology products.
- 5+ years in product development / product management.
- Experience with SAFe agile and pragmatic development approaches preferred.
- Direct domain experience in provider directory and provider data management–including provider data accuracy, validation, network adequacy, and directory maintenance–as well as broader healthcare payer administrative workflows.
- Familiarity with the provider directory and provider data vendor landscape.
