About The Role Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our ground solutions portfolio in support of the flight deck EFB product line. This individual will define and drive the strategy for Jeppesen ForeFlight’s solutions that allow commercial and business aviation customers to manage flight information throughout their operation and to the EFB. The ideal candidate brings firsthand experience with aviation, developing mobile solutions, data and systems integration, as well as AI familiarity. This is a critical, high-visibility role that will directly shape how major carriers around the world modernize their flight operations through the ground solutions supporting flight operations and EFB. Key Responsibilities Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for how navigation based information can be managed and tailored withing the context of a commercial airline operation.Research and create product requirements and prototypes; work with engineering and design to bring navigation capabilities from discovery through deliveryConduct deep discovery with airline customers and prospects to understand their flight-deck navigation workflows, pain points, and requirements—translating operational realities into actionable product specificationsLead cross-functional collaboration with sales, engineering, QA, and marketing to ensure navigation capabilities meet customer needs and market opportunitiesIdentify market potential, establish pricing and go-to-market strategies, and build the business case for navigation as a product lineParticipate in overall product strategy and development coordination for new and emerging navigation capabilities, including tailored/fleet-specific data, and multi-platform deliveryCollaborate with marketing to develop materials and strategies that accurately reflect the navigation value proposition; partner with sales on customer messaging and competitive positioning against other solutionsDevelop and track metrics — feature adoption, and customer satisfaction — to evaluate navigation product effectiveness and customer value; identify and promote new ideas for continuous improvementLead and participate in the development of navigation and moving-map user experience design efforts; identify and submit IP/Invention disclosures as applicable Basic Qualifications 3–5 years of product management experience in aviation software, enterprise content management, or another relevant airline operations environmentExperience with content management systems and the development or implementation of authoring, workflow, and information management solutionsExperience partnering directly with commercial or business aviation flight operations, technical publications, dispatch, or flight standards teams to translate operational workflows into product requirementsComfort operating in a regulated, safety-critical product environment, including change control, verification and validation, and coordination with certification or airworthiness stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to use analytics to inform the end-to-end software lifecycle, from discovery and development through launch, adoption, and ongoing iterationStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and operational requirements into clear product specifications and prioritized roadmapsStrong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to align engineering, UX, sales, and regulatory/compliance teams around shared product prioritiesAbility and willingness to travel to airline customer sites, flight operations centers, and industry events as needed Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of direct experience working within or alongside an airline’s flight operations, technical publications, or flight standards departmentWorking knowledge of the aeronautical data and regulatory landscape governing EFB products, including FAA AC 120-76, applicable EASA EFB guidance, and other relevant regulatory requirementsFamiliarity with geospatial and mapping technologies, including GIS, moving-map rendering engines, GPS, and ADS-B position sourcesBackground in aviation, airline cockpit or ground environments, regulatory requirements, and EFB platformsPilot certificate (Private Pilot or higher) or equivalent flight-deck experience Why Join Us Benefits At Jeppesen ForeFlight, we know you want a rewarding career.
