Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead Product Development: Manage the full lifecycle of Supermicro’s data center services portfolio from concept to end-of-life (EOL).
- Shape Product Strategy: Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for data center solutions, ensuring alignment with market trends and business objectives.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee data center services products through the entire lifecycle, ensuring successful product launches and market positioning.
- Market Analysis & Strategy: Analyze market trends and business needs to develop tactics that position Supermicro's data center services products for maximum impact.
- Product Training: for internal teams, partners, resellers, and end customers to ensure deep understanding of product offerings.
- Customer Collaboration: Work with customers to refine product specifications and ensure product features align with their expectations and business needs.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead research and analysis to develop platform strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive execution of product roadmaps.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback gathering to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Lead go-to-market strategies: Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to promote new solutions effectively.
- Influence Growth and Innovation: Drive key decisions to maximize market share, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (MBA or MS a plus).
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Product Management, or data center development. 5+ years in customer-facing roles.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of data center services, their architecture, and the product roadmap.
- Business Acumen: Ability to build compelling business cases, develop effective presentations, and measure success.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with clients and internal teams. Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Preferred Experience: managing or supporting co-location data center environments. Familiarity with Supermicro CDU systems and liquid-cooled server platforms.
