About the role

Biolinq is a venture-backed digital health company developing a wearable biosensor platform that measures biomarkers important to the management of many clinical conditions including diabetes. This dynamic role is a part of a team of engineers and scientists developing a novel intradermal biosensor technology and the associated software data extraction and rendering SDK that will transform the way people manage their metabolic health.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with engineers, designers, data science, clinical, marketing and regulatory to realize the product vision
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and “ownership attitude” while working closely with design and engineering teams to deliver the best experience for our users.
  • Identifying the most valued unmet user needs
  • Ensuring a product is commercially viable (product/market fit)
  • Continuously improving products via iterative innovation (discover, define/design, develop and delivery)
  • Collaborate with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps
  • Supervise and support designers and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Document and communicate priorities, requirements, and product plans with key stakeholders throughout the organization on an ongoing basis
  • Lead the discovery, ideation, scoping, execution, launch and growth of user centric features to address pain points and business opportunities
  • Develop hypotheses, experiments, and research plans with the product design team
  • Conduct user research alongside the product design team to identify and evaluate unmet user needs. Use insights to inform product decisions, deliver on user needs, and drive meaningful outcomes for the business
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Design to plan, build, and launch features, from concept through launch
  • Manage complex schedules that involve both internal and external teams, across hardware and software
  • Serve as the external and internal point of contact for key partners
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create go-to-market plans and materials to communicate, position, and promote the value proposition of your product(s)
  • Define and measure product success metrics, and evaluate the impact on the business
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required. MBA preferred or at least 8 years previous engineering, design, and/or business experience.
  • 7+ years of experience as a product manager on growth or new product development, or equivalent experience in user research, product design or engineering.
  • Captivating and compelling presentation, communication, and storytelling skills
  • Self-starter and resourceful with a “can do” attitude
  • Innovative and able to develop and deliver a vision for user experience and business strategy
  • Naturally curious, and passionate about learning about customers, product, and industry
  • Strong analytical skills and able to draw conclusions from data, user and market insights, management information, and industry trends
  • Able to organize and facilitate high-impact meetings and workshops
  • Displays product leadership and able to collaborate with cross-functional team
  • Sound time management skills, delivering high quality results on tight deadlines
  • Highly organized, focused and committed to achieving goals
  • Thrives under pressure in prioritizing and managing multiple projects
  • Entrepreneurial mindset who searches for ways to improve the product and user experience
  • Metrics minded and thinks about how your product team’s work ladders up to business and user value
  • Takes rough themes and turns them into a roadmap of features, experiments, and research with minimal guidance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with aptitude for clearly articulating customer needs
  • High user empathy with a strong focus on execution and being able to put ideas into action
  • Proven ability to take a product from conception to successful market adoption
  • Experience developing software, e.g. iOS and/or Android mobile applications, and Web applications in an agile environment
  • Experience working with AI-driven or data-driven consumer experiences
  • Experience with human factors analysis and reporting is a nice to have

Pay

The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this role is: $115,000 to $145,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. Actual compensation packages are commensurate with experience and based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate including, but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, education, certifications, and specific work location.
