Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage the hardware product lifecycle, from strategic planning through margin management and delivery, to ensure alignment with the Access Management product suite and business objectives.
- Own the roadmap, SKU management and country specific regulatory requirements for badge readers and other related hardware used across Imprivata EAM, MAM and EAMC.
- Lead initiatives that move customers toward modern, secure reader technology while preserving fast, reliable workflows.
- Manage technical relationships with hardware suppliers and partners, including roadmap alignment, new product introduction, firmware updates, compatibility, certifications, country specific requirements, RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and field readiness.
- Work closely with Engineering, QA, Support, Global supply chain, Product Ops, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver high-quality hardware offerings and resolve customer issues.
- Use customer, field, support, and partner feedback to improve the hardware offering and prioritize roadmap investments.
- Partner with Mobile and Access Management Product Managers to align hardware strategy with authentication, endpoint, and clinical and commercial workflow priorities.
- Own hardware best practices, compatibility guidance, documentation, and enablement materials to support Sales, Sales Operations, Support, and Customer Success teams.
- Monitor, manage, and report on escalations and success metrics, including secure reader adoption, quality trends, field readiness, customer impact, and business performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, Science, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in enterprise software, healthcare IT, hardware, device integrations, or identity and access management.
- Proven experience managing hardware and software integration projects in collaboration with external technology partners.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude in device integrations, authentication workflows, firmware, enterprise infrastructure, endpoint environments, or APIs.
- Experience collaborating with Engineering, QA, Support, Global Supply Chain, Sales, Product Operations, and Customer Success teams to deliver products and address customer issues.
- Skilled at translating customer, field, support, and partner feedback into clear product requirements, prioritized roadmaps, and compelling business cases.
- Excellent communication, presentation, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with identity and access management, authentication, badge access, MFA, passwordless workflows, or clinical access workflows.
- Proven experience in healthcare IT environments, with a focus on clinical or manufacturing workflows, shared workstations, thin clients, EHR access, and regulated healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with hardware certification, interoperability testing, device lifecycle management, RMA analysis, supplier management, and partner enablement programs.
- Experience supporting go-to-market plans, sales enablement, field readiness, pricing changes, end-of-sale activities, and customer migration programs.
Pay
This position offers a total compensation range of $160,650.00 to $171,150.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives).
