About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that utilize advanced GIS technologies to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test GIS solutions
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS systems
  • Support the implementation of new GIS features and functionalities
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development
  • Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python
  • Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with server-side programming languages such as Java or C#
  • Knowledge of geospatial data models and database management systems

Skills

  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Understanding of geospatial data analysis and visualization techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
