Key Exciting Responsibilities

• Shape product solutions across all product areas from concept to launch, owning key design deliverables that drive customer success — from first-time experience flows to novel approaches to complex workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering and Product to integrate great UX into our core platform, communicating clearly and often to bring designs to life.
• Spearhead user discovery and design validation with stakeholders, distilling complex workflows into intuitive user experiences that solve real-world challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement in our Document Crunch design system and best practices to ensure high-quality and sustainable design outcomes.
• Apply the power of modern AI to the real-world workflows and problems of our industry, distilling patterns and techniques as we learn about interacting in this new world.
• Mentor design team members and contribute to group strategy and product vision.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience designing applications, with a strong focus on B2B products.
• Proven track record of leading design initiatives across multiple products or platforms, with a portfolio demonstrating deep expertise in solving complex UX challenges.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for delivering "visionary pragmatist" results, balancing great UX, style, and pragmatism that actually work.
• Expert proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (Figma, AdobeXD, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of UX design processes and methodologies, with an adaptive mindset open to new approaches.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with engineers, product management, and leadership on strategy and approach.
• Ideal, a strong understanding of and experience with various AI tools and user experiences.

Bonus Points For Experience

• Designing for construction technology, document processing, or enterprise software.
• Deep familiarity with AI-driven product experiences and emerging interaction patterns.
• Previous involvement in building or scaling a design system from the ground up.

Compensation

Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law. Hiring Range $144,600.00–$198,800.00 Pay Rate Type Salary Bonus Eligible? Yes Commission Eligible? No Benefits: Trimble offers comprehensive core benefits that include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Time off plans and retirement plans. Most of our businesses also offer tax savings plans for health, dependent care and commuter expenses as well as Paid Parental Leave and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
