Responsibilities
- Lead the selection and design of new or replacement systems.
- Identify root causes of deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Manage projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality goals.
- Lead change controls related to equipment and systems.
- Provide technical support during cGMP audits and train manufacturing staff on equipment operations.
- Own critical documentation and maintenance procedures.
- Lead or support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and validation activities.
- Contribute to Lean initiatives and improve workplace safety and quality.
- Work cross-functionally and interact with vendors, contractors, and diverse project teams.
- Apply excellent communication skills to influence and negotiate effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in science
- Expertise: Extensive experience with biopharmaceutical unit operations, PLC, DCS, and advanced understanding of engineering principles.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to solve complex technical issues. Experience with root cause analysis and process improvements.
- Leadership: Experience leading teams or cross-functional projects. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a matrix environment.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to convey complex concepts and build productive relationships across departments.
- Systems Proficiency: Skilled in SAP, TrackWise, CAD, document management systems, and SharePoint.
- Industry Experience: 3-5+ years
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Engineering
- Subject matter expertise in upstream or downstream production areas, such as incubators, bioreactors, centrifuges, chromatography columns, and freeze/thaw processes.
- Master's degree
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and technical expertise in biopharmaceutical unit operations.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems.

Pay
The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $97,372.00 to $146,058.00.
Schedule
Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
