Essential Job Duties
- Own and back-up numerous processes.
- Support Operations with process, equipment, instruction, material, and part number challenges.
- Create new systems and overhaul existing systems.
- Introduce and develop new abilities.
- Own daily root cause analysis on failures, and corrective and preventative actions.
- Fully document Standard Operating Procedures, Control Plans, Risk Mitigations, Environmental Health & Safety Requirements.
- Write assembly instructions for part numbers as needed.
- Own large project and Lead cross-functional improvements.
- Lead audits and customer visits.
- Create step-improvements in process controls and process capability.
- Corroborate with and travel to other AFS factories, to adopt best practices.
- Provide occasional evening and weekend phone support.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s of Science degree in an engineering field: manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, electrical, or industrial, or similar studies.
- Experience: 5-15 years of relevant experience.
- Experienced in mistake prevention methods such as poka-yoke.
- GR&R, FMEA, PPAP, IQ OQ PQ, Poka-Yoke, Minitab, and statistical analysis skills.
- Leverage Lean Facilitator skill.
- Technology/Equipment: Proficient in Minitab, proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Travel: Up to 5%

- Self-motivated and detail oriented.
Pay
We offer a competitive base salary in the $105,000 to $120,000 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus and profit-sharing opportunities tied to performance.
