Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (On-site)

About the role

We are seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer for our client to support the development, integration, testing, and fielding of SIGINT capabilities. This position requires on-site work at the Hudson facility and may involve off-shift or weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements development, design, integration, and fielding of SIGINT capabilities.
• Provide Integration, Verification, and Validation (IVV) support.
• Apply digital engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations for internal teams and customer meetings.
• Perform system integration and develop test plans and procedures.
• Analyze data to support system evaluation and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance and eligibility to obtain additional SCI and SAP/SAR access.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Ability to integrate software and troubleshoot issues to support system characterization.
• Experience with RF and RF/software test environments.
• Hands-on laboratory experience.
• Ability to identify root causes and make timely decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• 15 or more years of relevant work experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• MBSE experience.
• Systems engineering experience across the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, decomposition, derivation, and allocation; modeling and simulation; design and development; and integration and testing.
• Software integration experience and knowledge of Linux containers.
• Experience with RF, radar, electronic warfare, SIGINT, or software-defined radio.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
• Hands-on experience with RF/SIGINT systems IVV and laboratory setups.
• Experience with Agile development.

Pay

$75.00 - $80.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
