Sr. Principal Solution Consultant, GI - NORAM

About the role

This remote role will serve as a senior technical and commercial advisor supporting solution positioning across key industrial markets in North America. The position will partner closely with sales teams and senior executives to translate complex technology capabilities into measurable business value, while helping shape market messaging, customer engagement strategy, and adoption of industry-focused solutions. The role will also bring market insight back into the organization to inform product direction and support broader growth efforts across targeted segments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical qualification of solutions to strengthen business outcomes
• Stay current on industry trends and regional developments
• Learn and apply the company's product portfolio to solve business challenges
• Craft tailored messaging to position solutions across targeted industries
• Collaborate with sales teams to engage customers and communicate the company's vision
• Demonstrate the value of solutions to target markets
• Engage senior executives in discussions about digitalization partnerships
• Develop industry-specific solutions that connect technology to business value
• Provide market insights to support product adoption
• Initiate and lead sales campaigns to expand market presence
• Train sales teams on engagement strategies for targeted industries
• Present solutions at global trade shows and events

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software solutions for Metals & Mining, Specialty Chemicals, and Pulp & Paper industries
• Preferred engineering degree
• Experience in industry best practices and processes
• Proficiency in advanced control & optimization and asset performance management solution areas
• Familiarity with AI/ML solutions and their applications
• Ability to articulate technical solutions and their value to stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
