This position supports the Launcher Operating Unit in Merritt Island, FL and focuses on risk and opportunity management efforts.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Manages the risk process, including identifying and mitigating risks at early stages across multiple functional organizations (Program Office, Engineering, Manufacturing, Field Operations, etc.).
- Runs reviews and keeps risk data current, accurate, and decision-ready.
- Articulates and presents risk management concepts to stakeholders, including upper-level management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years, or master’s and 6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience using RIO (Risk in Opportunity) frameworks.
- Experience with advanced Microsoft Office Applications (Excel Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and analyzing large data sets).
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience using risk management tools and dashboards (or similar systems).
- Active U.S. Government Secret level security clearance.
- Experience with program integration and risk management.
- Experience presenting to upper-level management.
Pay
Primary level salary range: $101,400.00 – $152,200.00. Base salary offers consider scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Eligible employees may receive overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
