This role is based out of Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities

• Primary manufacturing liaison to program management for development and execution of the manufacturing strategy
• Primary product development, manufacturing, test, global supply chain, and mission assurance contact for program activities
• Lead program review sessions with internal and external customers to discuss operational aspects of technical, cost, and schedule performance
• Oversee and manage product development, manufacturing, test, global supply chain, and mission assurance activities
• Serve as primary liaison to program management
• Assess project and technical issues and develop and drive action plans and resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction goals and objectives
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program managers, engineering, suppliers, line/cell managers, and customers
• Coordinate and lead the preparation of proposals; prepare and review all manufacturing Basis of Estimate justifications
• Create master production schedules and coordinate material planning and production scheduling to include all aspects of producing product through delivery
• Drive continuous improvement through mitigating risks and realizing opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in Project/Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related discipline
• Master’s degree with 6 years of experience in Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related discipline
• Experience with project leadership and/or process improvement
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Proposal Preparation, and/or Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development
• Experience acting as a liaison between multiple disciplines to solve complex problems
• Experience troubleshooting and developing creative solutions to meet customer demands
• Experience driving continuous improvement through mitigating risks and realizing opportunities
• Experience leading people and/or projects directly or indirectly
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance and SAP (Special Access Programs)
• U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Active/Current U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Master’s degree in Engineering or Project Management
• Experience communicating with executive leadership (Director or VP level)
• Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00
