About the role

The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a key component of the Missile Defense System. It supports the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts with tools such as Ansible or Terraform
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for process and automation improvements
  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using a range of technologies, including Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell
  • Test and validate automation solutions to ensure they meet requirements and are defect-free

Requirements

  • Must be a detail-oriented individual who can track the impact of events and actions on the underlying infrastructure being managed, such as patching and maintenance
  • Current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.)
  • Current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Red Hat OpenStack, or Nutanix
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration
  • Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible
  • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience implementing configuration management methodologies using Ansible
  • Prior experience with a Nutanix Hyperconverged on-prem cloud platform
  • Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Prior experience with a Scrum team in an Agile environment

Qualifications

  • Please list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or 12 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree.

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00
