Sr. Principal Analyst, S&OP/S&OE Planning Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a supply chain professional to provide leadership in developing supply chain infrastructure (Process, Tools) to support Ampere’s growing planning network and enhance collaboration with affiliates through an integrated process design. We are looking for a leader who can envision a planning infrastructure to support S&OP / S&OE and guide the transition to this new state.

• Vision, design, and leadership of our Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) infrastructure to expand capabilities, work with affiliates, and create a common language and analysis.
• Analysis of existing system capabilities, driving improvements and innovations, guiding decision-making, and implementing additional planning modules for a more effective S&OP and S&OE capability.
• Bridge technical capabilities and business processes to lead methods supporting S&OP and S&OE processes.
• Create an infrastructure enabling collaboration with affiliates while maintaining clear legal entity boundaries.
• Work with IT partners to design processes and reporting for Factory Planning within APS tools (Kinaxis / RapidResponse / Maestro) — including dashboards, reports, and visualizations for complex decision-making.

Requirements

• MBA or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field with 12+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Product Planning, or related work.
• Demonstrated experience with Factory Scheduling / Master Scheduling functions across multiple geographic locations and factories, specifically using APS tools (e.g., Rapid/Maestro, Blue Yonder).
• Experience with APS — providing vision and architectural leadership for factory loading, output activities, models, scenarios, and scorecard assessments. Preferred system: Kinaxis RapidResponse / Maestro, but other APS experiences are considered.
• Focus on leveraging and expanding APS capabilities, including requirements gathering and proposing solutions that prioritize return on effort.
• Experience within semiconductor supply chains, including PCBAs, SOCs, multi-die packages, test flows, binning, yields, and process variants.
• Experience with subcontracted manufacturing, particularly in Assembly/Test and Platform development.
• Hands-on experience in S&OP, capacity analysis, supply-demand matching, scenario design, and clear recommendations comprehending impacts and risks.
• Ability to translate operational parameters into business objectives measured in KPI metrics within an APS system.
• History of articulating complex data into easy-to-understand business visualizations.
• Deep understanding of the integrated nature of Process, People, and Tools to enable effective work output and the ability to document and communicate them.
• Strong teamwork and partnership approach to solving business problems.
• Ability to tolerate ambiguity, problem-solve in high-velocity change environments, and balance process hardening with the speed of change.

Pay

The full base pay range for this role is between $187,000 and $281,000, except in the San Francisco Bay Area where the range is between $204,000 and $306,000. The role also includes cash long-term incentives.
