- Developing availability models and analysis of different power generation sources (including, but not limited to; utility sources, diesel generators, reciprocating engines, gas turbines, fuel cells, battery energy storage systems, and renewable energy) to serve data center loads in grid connected or grid independent configurations
- Support the development of power generation configurations for different applications, including primary, temporary, or backup power
- Understanding the design and functionality of the global data center fleet, including existing, upcoming, and unique site designs
- Interpreting, evaluating, and developing Single Line Drawings (SLD), engineering drawings, equipment submittals, equipment specifications documentation, and performance data to advance concepts and solutions
- Providing feedback to the Design Engineering teams for design revisions for new data centers as well as to Field Engineering for operational data center upgrades
- Understanding grid interconnection standards and requirements, including working on microgrid design and controls, and distributed energy resources
- Working on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions
- Being a leader within the group as well as within other teams
- Having fun and working hard!
