Sr. Engineer - Gas Power Generation

A DAY IN THE LIFE

You will support the design, development, and execution of utility-scale power generation and energy infrastructure projects. A typical day involves collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, reviewing designs and technical studies, supporting equipment and system integration, and solving complex engineering challenges throughout the project lifecycle. You'll work closely with project teams, engineering firms, estimators, procurement, and construction personnel to ensure designs are reliable, constructible, and aligned with client requirements. Projects may include gas turbine facilities, combined cycle power plants, substations, switchyards, transmission systems, utility interconnections, balance of plant systems, and supporting electrical, mechanical, and controls infrastructure.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or civil engineering, or related field from an ABET accredited college required.
• Five or more years of progressive engineering, and/or construction/field experience in a related industry (i.e., heavy civil, industrial, utilities, power generation) required.

What Sets You Apart

• Utility-scale gas generation or combined cycle power plant experience.
• Experience with gas turbines, balance of plant systems, substations, switchyards, or transmission infrastructure.
• Strong electrical, mechanical or civil engineering background within industrial or power generation environments.
