Responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting and technical decision making for fleet assets, ensuring consistency across the fleet.
- Manage documentation and currency of Engineering Requests, Work Orders, OEM Bulletins and Management Of Change (MOC’s) requests in Maximo.
- Actively participate in strategic/proactive efforts to improve productivity and advance fleet reliability.
- Support parts planning and annual budget planning, ensuring that plans account for fleet lessons learned.
- Manage the technical evaluation of component capability, reliability and durability with OEMs and 3rd Party Suppliers.
- After-hours support required on occasion via virtual/phone meetings and could require on-site consultation.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge regarding the operation and maintenance of a diverse OEM combustion turbine fleet.
- Detailed knowledge of the Gas Turbine and its auxiliary systems including but not limited to the lube oil system, hydraulic system, gas fuel system, liquid fuel system, and operation of the machine.
- Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
- 4+ years of experience.
Qualifications
- Strong communications/presentation skills.
- Strong Excel capabilities with macro and programming skills desirable.
- Familiarity with either the T3000, Ovation, or Netmation Controls Software.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Yellow Belt certification.
