About the Opportunity:The Sr. Platform Engineer - Kubernetes role is responsible for supporting the global expansion of a large-scale cybersecurity platform. This position aims to design, implement, and maintain highly reliable, scalable hybrid multi-cloud Kubernetes infrastructure. The role contributes by ensuring platform stability and incorporating open-source technologies to enhance infrastructure services, directly impacting the organization's ability to deliver secure, scalable solutions. 3. Responsibilities:Design and implement scalable hybrid multi-cloud Kubernetes platform solutionsOptimize and maintain reliability of large-scale infrastructure systemsEvaluate and integrate open-source technologies into workflowsProvide technical direction for Kubernetes infrastructure evolutionMentor less-senior engineers and support collaborative technical decisions 4. Requirements:Eligible for CJIS clearance (U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident)5+ years of Kubernetes experience managing clusters with thousands of nodesExperience with Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager, and GolangExperience with large-scale, business-critical Linux environmentsExperience operating in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, OCIExperience managing custom data centersAbility to manage on-call shiftsProven experience applying AI technologies to improve workflows and business outcomes Bonus Points:Experience writing Kubernetes operatorsEffective communication skills and ability to work with local and remote teamsIndependent yet collaborative work styleBachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, CIS, or Engineering 5.
