Responsibilities
- Secure and configure containerized services orchestrated with Kubernetes
- Monitor and tune Kubernetes performance using service and traffic metrics
- Lead lifecycle management of all containerized services for the Kobayashi Maru software
- Troubleshoot containerized services and publish root cause analyses and postmortems
- Establish Service Level Objectives and other Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) metrics
- Manage network traffic to ensure critical services are maintained
- Design and manage the Kubernetes environment to support multiple software product teams across various operational environments
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, STEM, or IT and 8+ years of experience, or Masters with 6+ years; additional experience accepted in lieu of degree
- US Citizen with a current Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Minimum 8 years in Kubernetes engineering, including 2 years in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Possession of a Kubernetes-related certification such as CKA, CKAD, or KCNA
- Experience designing and building distributed systems for mid to large enterprises

$107,900 – $195,050 annually
