Sr. Physician Liaison
SUMMARY
The Brown University Health (BUH) Senior Physician Liaison is responsible for developing and executing outreach plans targeted to the referring physician community across Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Outreach goals include increasing referrals to the system through promotion of key clinical programs, sharing information about new physicians, communicating program updates, and supporting the expansion of clinical services.

EDUCATION
A Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master’s in healthcare or a Master of Business Administration is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Seven to ten years of progressively responsible project management experience, with at least two years in health care organizations. Clinical experience is preferred but not required.
- Mature and excellent judgment, working independently and representing Brown University Health in the community.
- Excellent communication and follow-through skills, demonstrating enthusiasm for customer service and relations.
- Recognizes and addresses acute problems, works effectively in large organizations, and involves physicians and allied health staff in program development and execution.
- Works effectively within a large complex academic medical center (AMC).
- Flexible schedule, accommodating evening and occasional weekend programs.
- Car and valid driver’s license required due to frequent travel within Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

- Expert understanding of health systems and operations.
- Strong information technology skills and ability to use technology solutions to improve relationship management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Initiative-taking, exceptional integrity, and ability to develop a common vision among various constituents.
- Strong marketing and promotion skills.
- Uses tact, discretion, and maintains confidentiality.
Supervisory Responsibility
Responsible for developing annual budget needs for the Senior Physician Liaison (as part of the Network Development departmental budget).

$74,672.00-$123,198.40
