Sr Physical Security Systems Specialist

Primary Purpose

Purpose

Serve as a key member of Corporate Physical Security (CPS) Security Systems Support team

Primary Duties

• Manage and oversee security systems and operation
• Oversee system architecture changes, upgrades, and system integrations
• Develop training and systems support for end users
• Assess feasibility of implementing security system features and functionality
• Oversee change management of security system updates and related outages

Job Scope

Ensure efficient operation of intrusion detection, access control, and video systems. Track and identify security system performance issues, effectively manage change in the system environment, and ensure effective integration of systems with IT systems depending on the data from the security systems. Work independently.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering or related discipline
• In lieu of a degree, at least 6 years combination of education and work experience
• At least 4 years of security system experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Extensive Knowledge and Proficiency on the following systems: CCure 9000E, ExacqVision, DMP

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree
• Technical certifications related to electronic security systems, IT networks, and/or physical security protection
