Responsibilities
- Prepares staff schedule to provide adequate coverage and updates changes daily
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues with technicians, clinic staff etc. as needed in conjunction with the Supervisor
- Maintains drawing and POC testing carts/trays with necessary supplies
- Maintains all necessary supplies and places orders in a timely fashion
- Sorts timed specimen requisitions and distribute them according to unit assignments as necessary
- Obtain specimens, requisitions, draw blood or perform POC tests as needed
- Identifies the needs of the patient population served and modifies and delivers care that is specific to those needs (i.e., age, culture, language, hearing and/or visually impaired, etc.)
- Communicates with the patient, parent, and/or primary caregiver(s) at their level (developmental/age, educational, literacy, etc.)
- Adheres to the standards identified in the clinic’s Organizational Competencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of progressive, accomplished experience in POC and phlebotomy preferred
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred

Pay
Pay range: $25.00 - $30.00 / hour
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, with rotational weekends, 6:45AM-5:30PM - 8/10 hours shifts
