We are looking for a skilled Sr. Payroll Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. Responsibilities
- Process semi-monthly payroll for approximately 200 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage payroll-related tasks such as garnishments, deductions, and benefit reconciliations.
- Utilize Viewpoint software to track and code employee time against various job costs.
- Handle onboarding, terminations, and salary changes with attention to detail.
- Compare insurance invoices against payroll deductions to ensure proper tracking.
- Maintain confidentiality in all payroll and employee-related matters.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile payroll data with the general ledger.
- Provide support for multi-state payroll operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in auditing payroll procedures and resolving discrepancies effectively.
- Participate in company-wide events and contribute to maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, preferably within a construction environment.
- Familiarity with job costing and payroll systems such as Viewpoint or ADP Workforce Now.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and VLOOKUP functions.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive employee data.
- Experience managing payroll for 100-500 employees across multiple states.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations, including garnishments and deductions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams effectively.
