Sr Payroll Analyst

About the role

The Sr Payroll Analyst will manage the entire payroll cycle, from timekeeping to payment distribution, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. They will also investigate and resolve payroll issues, collaborate with IT on system upgrades, and support internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Direct experience with payroll processing, including timekeeping, deductions, and extra payments.
• Multi-state payroll expertise, including local, city, and state tax calculations and registrations.
• Researching and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and conducting regular audits.
• Investigating and resolving timekeeping, deduction, and benefit-related issues.
• Collaborating with HR, Finance, and external vendors to maintain smooth payroll operations.
• Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements for payroll efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• 5+ years full-cycle payroll experience.
• Expertise in payroll software applications such as ADP Global View, SAP/Oracle HCM.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for generating spreadsheets, creating formulas, and analyzing data.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Payroll certifications such as CPP, FPC, NACPB preferred.

The typical hiring salary for this role ranges from USD $39.94 to $67.99 per hour, varying by specific work location within the company's network of offices in Irving, Louisville, and Charlotte.
