Sr. Payroll Analyst

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll operations for US and Canadian employees across multiple cycles
• Act as primary payroll point of contact for employee inquiries and internal stakeholders
• Lead payroll system operations in Workday, managing deductions, uploads, and reports
• Manage equity compensation payroll events in collaboration with Stock Administration
• Support month-end close by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
• Ensure compliance with US and Canadian payroll regulations
• Drive process improvements and identify automation opportunities

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing payroll in Workday, primarily using Workday Payroll
• Experience processing full-cycle payroll for US (multi-state) and Canadian employees
• Knowledge of equity compensation payroll, including RSU, NSO, and ISO taxation
• Experience in month-end close activities and payroll GL account reconciliation
• Strong understanding of US and Canadian payroll regulations
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
