Sr Payroll Analyst

About the role

Provides analysis and resolves payroll issues under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and addresses systems issues and customer inquiries in compliance with company policies.
• Analyzes and resolves matters pertaining to tax, wage and hour compliance, garnishments, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in payroll, financial systems processing, financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit, or operational analysis.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of personal computer applications.
• Good analytical, human relations, and communication skills.
• SQL experience.
• Auditing skills/experience.
• Controls and compliance experience.
• Automation experience.
• Project management skills.

Additional Details

This is a hybrid position located in Collierville, TN, Plano, TX, or Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week.

This position may be eligible for relocation.

This role deals with controls and compliance in the Payroll Department.
