Sr Parts Clerk

About the role

• Performs an accomplished level of functional tasks required for the effective, efficient, and legal operation of warehousing and ordering parts to support the global vehicles organization.
• Provides fast, effective operations of warehousing and parts ordering to support the global vehicles organization in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
• Provides timely parts support to global vehicle maintenance customers.
• Tracks inventory and processes invoices for purchasing and shipping parts.
• Maintains good working relationships with external and internal customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Four (4) years experience in coordinating or managing parts inventory within the automotive, truck, or heavy equipment industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of ATA code for parts stocking.
• Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment in compliance with established policies and practices.
• Knowledge of ground support equipment.
• Proficient skills in operating a personal computer.
• Basic teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Good communications skills are required.

Job Conditions

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and maneuver any weight above 50 pounds with assistance on a regular basis.
• Ability to work without supervision for extended time periods.
• Must be able to work in noisy, non air-conditioned/heated work area.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in state of residence.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete dangerous goods training.
