About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using ArcGIS platform technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using ArcGIS platform technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement GIS solutions
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS applications
• Provide technical support and guidance to users
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to code quality improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development or related field
• Experience with ArcGIS platform technologies (ArcGIS Engine, ArcGIS Runtime, ArcGIS API for JavaScript)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and experience with Java or C#
• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages
• Knowledge of web development frameworks such as Angular or React
• Experience with geospatial data analysis and visualization tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
