Sr. Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Consultant

Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid)

About the Role

The consultant will participate in the upgrade and migration of our on-prem Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Oracle PeopleSoft (PS) Human Capital Management (HCM) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) application to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Oracle Fusion. The consultant will also participate in the upgrade of our on-prem ERP PS Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) application and associated tools such as PeopleTools. This includes collaborating with the implementation vendor and resources to ensure business capabilities and functions are working as designed in the SaaS Oracle Fusion product and the PS Financials' on-prem application.

Responsibilities

• Provide development support for customer-requested features and functionality for ERPS:
  • Collaborate with the ERPS team and business users to analyze and design solutions for customer-requested features.
• Assist the ERPS team with tasks related to Oracle Fusion HCM implementation and Oracle PeopleSoft application:
  • Support the ERPS team and actively participate in the various stages of Oracle Fusion HCM implementation.
  • Review and validate fixes deployed by developers in production and test environments.
• Conduct ongoing knowledge transfer sessions with the ERPS team on complex development work and incident resolution:
  • Organize and conduct regular knowledge transfer sessions on complex design and development techniques.
  • Document technical processes and resolutions for future reference.
  • Share insights from previous incident resolutions to improve incident handling.

Requirements

• Minimum of fifteen years of experience as an Oracle PeopleSoft developer and providing legacy support.
• Demonstrated experience with Oracle Fusion implementations, migrations, and data cleanup.
• Ten years developing data to achieve strategies and implementations for Oracle PeopleSoft HCM.
• Minimum of ten years providing technical expertise in consolidation and migration of data to new cloud-based platforms.
• Ten years of experience supporting Oracle Cloud products and SaaS.
• Ten years of experience supporting Oracle databases and related infrastructure.
