Sr. Network Engineer - TS/SCI Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer – TS/SCI Clearance to support a leading government and defense technology organization on-site five days a week in Fort Meade, MD. The Sr. Network Engineer – TS/SCI Clearance will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing complex network infrastructures in a secure environment while supporting critical mission objectives. The Sr. Network Engineer - TS/SCI Clearance is ideal for an experienced network engineering professional with a strong background in enterprise networking, troubleshooting, and secure government environments. Responsibilities of the Sr. Network Engineer – TS/SCI Clearance: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and related technologies.Support network modernization, upgrades, and infrastructure enhancement projects.Configure and maintain routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and related technologies.Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and operations teams to support secure network environments.Ensure compliance with government security requirements and industry best practices. Qualifications of the Sr. Network Engineer – TS/SCI Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance required.7+ years of experience in network engineering within enterprise or government environments.Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies and enterprise network infrastructure.Knowledge of routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and STP.Experience with firewalls, VPNs, network monitoring, and troubleshooting tools.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Compensation for the Sr. Network Engineer - TS/SCI Clearance includes: Salary range: $160,000- $215,000100% onsite in Fort Meade, MD, five days per week.Estimated 40 hours per week.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), sick leave as required by law, and PTO.
