Sr. Network Engineer

About the Role

This is a Contract to Hire position based in Anaheim, CA, with occasional travel to Phoenix for data center work. The role focuses on day-to-day network engineering tasks, including operational needs and smaller, integrated projects. Key responsibilities include involvement with Wescom Resources Group (WRG) for infrastructure support to credit unions, new client onboarding, and occasional travel for branch openings or equipment upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day network engineering tasks and operational needs.
• Partner with WRG to provide infrastructure support to credit unions.
• Assist with new client onboarding through WRG.
• Travel occasionally (approximately once a quarter) to the Phoenix data center or branches for infrastructure work.

Requirements

• Must have 2 out of the 4 certifications: Azure, SolarWinds, Palo Alto, or F5.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco hardware, BGP, EIGRP, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and SD-WAN architecture/implementation.
• Proficiency with F5 Local/Global Traffic Managers and high-level architectural design skills.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr, with flexibility for the right candidate. The conversion salary range is $116,000 - $175,000.
