Sr. .NET Full Stack Developer-Software Engineer III
About the role
As a Senior Full Stack .NET Engineer within Deloitte’s Project Delivery Talent Model, you will design, develop, and maintain mission-critical web applications and scalable APIs in a collaborative, onsite client-service environment with minimal travel. The role bridges robust backend architecture and responsive frontend interfaces to deliver high-performance software solutions for the financial and insurance sectors.
Responsibilities
- Full-lifecycle development: design, implement, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant web applications using C#, .NET (Core / .NET 8), and modern web frameworks tailored for high-volume financial transactions.
- Frontend engineering: develop responsive, accessible, and dynamic user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript alongside leading component-based frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js).
- API & architecture design: architect RESTful APIs and microservices, writing highly optimized, clean, and testable code that strictly adheres to SOLID principles and standard design patterns.
- Database integration: architect efficient database schemas, write advanced T-SQL queries, and utilize Object-Relational Mappers (e.g., Entity Framework Core) within Microsoft SQL Server to ensure ACID compliance across distributed systems.
- Performance tuning: proactively optimize system performance, debug complex backend configurations, and resolve latency bottlenecks to meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- CI/CD & DevOps collaboration: support automated deployment pipelines by utilizing version control (Git) and building automation tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) with a focus on secure, compliant deployment practices.
- Agile collaboration & quality assurance: participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning) and elevate team code quality through rigorous peer code reviews and architectural discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to uphold engineering standards and maintainable code.
- Partner closely with product managers and interoperability leads to ensure technical solutions align with healthcare needs and integration expectations.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers, project team members, and representatives from various functional and technical teams, escalating matters that require additional attention.
- Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on process improvement, optimization, and transformation, including implementing leading-practice workflows and driving operational outcomes.
Skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product.
- Ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
- Ability to lead projects or workstreams.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to provide clear guidance to others.
