About the role
We are seeking a Senior MRI Advanced Modality Technologist to perform and independently conduct MRI procedures in a Radiation Oncology Department.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for MRI procedures
- Perform MRI studies independently
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead quality assurance initiatives
- Mentor staff and students
- Participate in safety and process improvements
Requirements
- Certification as R.T.(R) and/or MR
- Associate's degree or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in MRI
Qualifications (Preferred)
- MRI licensure
- 5-10 years of experience
- Additional certifications such as CPR and IV therapy
Skills
- Strong technical proficiency in MRI procedures
- Ability to work independently
