Radiology Technologist (Days) - No Weekends or Call

About the role

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures with a primary focus on computed tomography (CT). The technologist prepares patients, sets up equipment, and executes imaging studies independently across a variety of clinical situations. In addition to technical duties, the role includes overseeing shift operations, troubleshooting equipment and patient‑care issues, and serving as a clinical resource and mentor for staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily CT scans
• Prepare patients and set up imaging equipment
• Execute imaging studies independently in diverse clinical situations
• Oversee shift operations and workflow
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and patient‑care issues
• Act as a clinical resource and mentor for staff and students

Requirements

• Associate degree or trade‑school equivalency
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Preferred qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in diagnostic imaging
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
